Old Bill’s Bar: gone. New Bill’s Bar: a revamped staple of dirty rock, boasting wallpaper reminiscent of Steven Tyler’s old striped skintight pants, with a renewed stage removing the former dark solid back to reveal a pretty fantastic old factory window unit covered by dirt, grime, and exterior graffiti.
On the all-new food menu: pre/post-game vittles like house-made bratwurst and ballpark sausages, messy-yet-delicious wings, chili cheese tater tots, and for those from the Windy City looking for a taste of home, the Chicago dog; which comes on a traditional poppy-seed bun, with a pickle slice and onion wedge flanking its sides. It goes particularly well with a spread of the craft beers (Notch, Wormtown, Slumbrew).
