Dear Hollywood HUB-HATERS,
Why the rush to make a movie about WHITEY BULGER?
There are a lot more interesting (and UPBEAT) people for Hollywood to make movies about in BOSTON.
For example: what about a movie on BOBBY BROWN’s musical life ?!
His early stuff is “out of this world”! Super cool!!! What happened later is unknown to me but would make up the rest of the movie.
Or how about a movie about AEROSMITH. In their early days they did a gig in a B.U. Dorm cafeteria!!! And then they went a long way up the musical ladder from there!
Finally there must be a LATIN BAND with local roots in Boston (I apologize for my ignorance in this area). A movie with a Latin beat would be cool too!
Remember the movies BEAT STREET? Or BREAKIN’?
Both of these movies rate higher than any movie about a GANGSTA!!!
Though Beverly Hills Cop (the original) is out of this world.
